Can you hear me now?

I've decided (rather compulsively, I'll note) to switch from LiveJournal to Blogger for my house blog. My original plan was to migrate over to my own domain and do all kinds of fancy cool things from there, but that requires time and skills, or time plus extra time to learn those skills, and time is just something I don't have in excess at this point. Yet there were some things that I wanted to be able to do that LiveJournal just wasn't allowing, so Blogger was the easy solution.

This is basically just a test post to see if I show up in Houseblogs.net. If I do, please stop in and say hi!

Hi! I use blogger and I've taken some time to learn how to manipulate the template, etc... (partly b/c for part of my job I maintain a different blog). Let me know if you have any questions and I'll try to help.
Yes- we can hear ya loud and clear! :)

Thanks!! I guess it's pretty clear that (a) I just grabbed a template and tossed in a few changes, and (b) I'm substantially design impaired!! I'd love to take you up on your offer since I love the design you've come up with for yours!

You made it here! :)

It's pretty easy to manipulate the blogger templates--you should have a beautiful blog in no time.

Hey, got your comment about flood tables. I did some quick checking and found this page: http://water.usgs.gov/waterwatch/index.php?map_type=real&state=de It looks like there just aren't that many river guages in your area. I'd say pick one upstream and follow it's activity.
